Inaugural words in tag clouds

I am a fan of information design and finding new ways to present information. After the inauguration speech of President Obama I came across some nice tag clouds with his words. (The one above is by Emily Chang.) I am surprised how well they convey the most important points in his speech!
The New York Times took it out fully, and got a page with tag clouds of every presidential inaugural speech since 1789. Very impressive, also very spot on and typical for the situation of the country at the corresponding times, and absolutely worth a look!

The tag cloud in this post was probably made in Illustrator, Photoshop or a similar tool. However, for more simpler tag clouds (like the tag cloud on the right hand side of this blog under the social network icons) there is a bunch of different things you can try. I found this like which got a lot of links to tag cloud related resources: http://www.technacular.com/2007/04/22/collection-... Also there is a couple generators out there that takes a website or an RSS feed and make it into a tagcloud: http://www.tagcloud-generator.com/ , http://www.makecloud.com/

Oh wait…I found another one. http://www.wordle.net/ Seems actually this is the one Emily Chang used to make her tag cloud (perhaps with some enhancements). Haven't researched it fully yet; but it looks nice after what I have seen so far (and create far more beautiful tag clouds than the ones I mentioned above).
